Since moving to Savannah in 1992, David has had the opportunity to play in a variety of venues, including luxury hotels, fine dining establishments, clubs, and festival events.  Currently, the best place to hear David perform is at the Mansion on Forsyth Park, downtown Savannah.

Pianist David Duckworth

Summary of current and past performing engagements:
Mulberry Inn
- Pianist (ongoing since 1996): Tea Time at this an award-winning hotel on East Bay Street, every Sat-Mon, 4-6 p.m.; and Sunday Brunch, 12-2 p.m.
- Pianist (2004- June 2006): Jazz Trio Thursdays though Saturdays, 8-10 p.m
Clipper Cruise Line
Pianist (ongoing since 1998): The Nantucket Clipper, an international cruise ship, docks in Savannah thirteen times a year. David performs a one-hour piano concert which involves jazz, classical, Broadway, and popular themes.
American Cruise Line
Pianist (ongoing since 2004): David performs on the American Spirit and the American Glory, international cruise ships, when they dock in Savannah weekly during the Spring and Fall.
Savannah Music Festival (formerly Savannah Onstage)
Accompanist (2003, 2001, 1999): Before serviving as staff accompanist for 12 contestants in 2003, David had the honor of accompanying Kim Polote in 1999 and again in 2001 when she took first prize ($10,000) in the American Traditions Vocal Competition.
Paula Deen's Wedding Televised on the Food Network
(First aired June 20, 2004): David Duckworth and Kim Polote provided music for the wedding ceremony of Paula Deen, owner of the famous "Lady and Sons" restaurant and host of the Food Network's "Paula's Home Cooking." 
Samantha Brown's Great Hotels
(September, 2003) The Emmy-nominated show featured David playing with Kim Polote at the Westin Harbor Resort on the Travel Channel.
Media Research Center's Annual DisHonors Awards Ceremony
(March, 2003) A nationally televised event,  David Duckworth and Kim Polote were flown up to the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington D.C. in Spring of 2003 to kick off their annual roasting of liberal media.
Savannah Jazz Festival
Pianist in festival jazz bands (since 1992).
Johnny Mercer Festival
Solo pianist as well as accompanist (2003-2005) for this annual concert in the Savannah Civic Center Johnny Mercer Theatre, which brings together talent from Johnny Mercer's hometown of Savannah and the surrounding areas to pay tribute to the famous lyricist.  Also, served as music director and band leader for the 2005 concert.

Mansion on Forsyth Park
- Pianist (2005-Jan. 2008): Solo performances of classical, jazz, Broadway and other styles in the Casimir Lounge of this acclaimed luxury hotel, 7-11 p.m. Wednesday nights.
- Pianist (2006-Jan. 2008): Solo performances of classical, jazz, Broadway and other styles in the Bösendorfer Lounge, 5-8 p.m. Thursday nights
514 West
- Pianist (2005-March 2007): Performed jazz and other styles during lunch and happy hour (12-2 pm and 6:30-8:30 pm) every Friday, with singer Kim Polote, at this downtown fine dining establishment.
- Pianist (2006-March 2007): Performed jazz with singer Kim Polote and bassist Alisha E. Duckworth, 7-9 p.m. Saturday evenings.
Downtown Cafe at Main
Pianist (2002-2003): David provided classical music on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings during the dinner hour.
Savannah Symphony Orchestra
Substitute pianist for (2000): David enjoyed being under the baton of Chelsea Tipton II for an afternoon of classical fun at the Savannah Symphony Orchestra's Halloween Lollipops concert.
Boar's Head
Pianist, 1995-1998: For three years, David performed at the Boar's Head on weekends while the dinner guests enjoyed their meal and cocktails. He was playing the Yamaha baby grand of Ronald Story, former proprietor.
Radisson Plaza Savannah (now Marriott)
1992-1994: When David moved to Savannah, he was playing the baby grand in then Radisson Plaza from 5 to 9 p.m. every Monday through Friday.
Huey's Jazz Lounge
(With the Bay Street Stompers Dixieland Jazz Band), 1992-1993: During the tourist season (which, at the time, was from the weekend before St. Patrick's day through Labor Day weekend), David was the pianist for the Saturday performances of the Bay Street Stompers, a Dixieland Jazz Band which has roots back to King Oliver.

David has also played in other venues on various occasions by invitation: Le Cabaret in Hilton Head, The Olde Pink House, City Market Courtyard, Marshwood and Plantation Clubs (Skidaway Island), Savannah Golf Club, Chatham Club, Old Oyster Factory in Hilton Head, and Cypress of Hilton Head
